Mint Panel takes a very serious approach to security hence the application architecture was built around JAVA. The JAVA API has its own in-built security architecture which we have utilized fully. We have tested Mint Panel rigorously against many types of attack both at the web and application level, to ensure a stable and secure platform.

Although Mint Panel releases its own RPMs we keep tabs on the latest security threats and the packages they affect. We release packaged and modified RPMs with a sharp turn around.

Why JAVA?

JAVA has many key security features such as its built in memory management, byte code verification and secure class loading insuring high-availability and security. We build ontop of this security platform in Linux incorporating automatic firewall management for your servers and services.
